LIPS Parent Portal

• Account information: Mobile phone number (for OTP login) or Google account email used to sign in.
• Student data: Name, class, section, student ID, attendance records, marks, and fee details linked to your child's enrollment at LIPS.
• Device information: FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) device token to deliver push notifications.
• Usage data: App interactions (screens visited, actions taken) collected through Firebase Analytics to improve the App.

• Authenticate you and provide access to your child's academic and financial records.
• Send push notifications about attendance, fees, notices, and school events.
• Enable in-app messaging between parents and school staff.
• Improve App performance and fix issues.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your data is shared only with:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and push notification delivery.
• Cloudflare: Hosting and data storage infrastructure.
• AWS SES: Transactional email delivery.
• MSG91: SMS delivery for OTP and notifications (India).

All providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it solely to provide the service.

Student and parent data is retained for the duration of the student's enrollment at LIPS and for up to 3 years after leaving, in compliance with educational record-keeping requirements. You may request earlier deletion by contacting the school office.

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth with industry-standard JWT tokens. Database access is restricted to authorised school staff only.

The App is intended for parents and guardians of enrolled students. Student data is managed by the school on behalf of the family. We do not knowingly collect data directly from children under 13.

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
